EloiseEloise was born in 2004 to Barbi, an Apline, and Rip, a Nubian. We got Eloise from AshAbby Farm in Andover, CT. Eloise kidded on April 24, 2014 with twins - a buck and a doe! This is Eloise's 7th kidding, and will be her last, unfortunately!

FudgieFudgie came to us from Putnam, CT. She was born 3/12/09 and is an Oberhasli/Nubian cross. Fudgie kidded on May 24, 2014 with two huge whoppers! These boys are so cute! This is Fudgie's 4th kidding, and third time with twins!

OpiOpi was given to us from a military family that could no longer keep their goats. Opi was born in 2008 and is a Pygmy. Opi kidded on March 2, 2014 with twin does. This awesome girl does NOT want to have anything less than two! This is her 6th kidding.

SuzieSuzie was born on April 16, 2013 to Fudgie and Duke. She is very sweet like her mom, and I intend on breeding her with Elbert, Eloise and Jack's 2014 buckling, next year. If she's anything like her mom she will give me a few problems, but still be a great mom!

Our Bucks/Wethers
Buddy
Buddy came to us from Hidden Hills Farm in Jewitt City. He is a 2 1/2 year old Nigerian Buck who is very handsome and very friendly! He fits in very well with our girls and I cannot wait to see the babies he gives us!
Elbert
Elbert was born on April 24, 2014 to Eloise and Jack. He is Ellie's twin brother, and must have decided to take everything when in eutero because he was twice as big as his sister when they were born! Since this was Eloise's absolute last kidding and I lost Jack I have decided to keep Elbert to have both Eloise and Jack live on for as long as I can!
Max
Max was born on March 8, 2011 to Opi and Jack. He lived with my friends Wendy and Chris for a few years and then came back to live with me when we decided to play goat swap. Max lived with his dad Jack in the buck pen for a period of time and is now with the girls since Jack is gone. He and Opi have gotten closer over the last few weeks and I often see them laying just like they did when he was little! I will get an updated picture up but for now enjoy this flash back!
Reference Bucks / Goats of the past
DukeDuke was born 3/4/10 and is a Nubian buck. Unforuntately Duke passed away in August 2013 due to a parasite. We are very sad to loose him but are grateful for the many kids he gave us!
JennyJenny is an American Saanan who was born on 3/19/08. She and Katie are half sisters. Jenny is registered with the ADGA and has been recorded as giving over a gallon of milk per day. Jenny went to live with Katie at my good friend's Wendy and Chris's house. They wanted to explore life with 'the big girls' and I was in need of thinning down my herd. The girls are doing very well!
MalloryMallory came to us from Vernon, CT. She was born on 5/3/07 and is registered with the ADGA and is a very sound and beautiful doe. Mallory kidded on 2/13/12 with a beautiful spotted doeling! In July 2014 Mallory went to live with a wonderful family in Plainfield that boards retired show horses. Unfortunately she was not the breeder I had hoped she would be and knew she would enjoy the leasurely life that la
AprilApirl was born on 4/26/2005 and came to live at ACF in April of 2011. I am sad to say she passed away during the night on 9/8/11 due to what we can only assume was cancer. She was a very sweet doe who we will miss, even though she was only here for a short time. Rest in peace.

EllieEllie was born on April 24, 2014 to Eloise and Jack. She was about 1/2 the size of her twin brother, Elbert, and I wasn't sure she would make it at first. Sadly, Ellie passed away on Saturday, October 25th at 6 months old. It was very quick and sudden and she did not suffer at all. I will miss her very much.
PipsqueakPipsqueak was born on June 28, 2013 to Eloise and Jack. I tried very hard to have Eloise breed with Duke, but she fell in love with Jack and the rest is history! Pipsqueak went to live with Fudgie's boy at a newer farm in Canterbury and is doing very well with his new friends.
JackJack was born 3/22/10 and is a Nigerian buck. He also comes from excellent dairy lines. He sired four babies in 2011, two bucklings and two doelings. In 2012 he sired four kids as well, three bucklings and one doeling. He continued his multiple streak by siring over 6 kids in 2013 and 7 kids in 2014! Sadly we lost Jack in July 2014 after a brief illness. I'm very sorry he's gone but am keeping his buckling, Elbert (Eloise's 2014 buck) as a new herd sire so his legacy and line will live on!

Vanilla"Nilly" is her nickname, and she was born at ACF on 4/6/10 to Eloise and Tyler. She is 1/2 Nigerian, 1/4 Nubian, 1/4 Alpine. Nilly has gone to live at a goat farm literally down the road and I'm pleased to say she kidded on Sunday 3/27/11 with a beautiful, healthy doeling. Jack sired this doeling and, wow, her coloring and confirmation are outstanding! There may be plans to breed Nilly back to Jack next year!
StellaStella came to us from Stafford Springs, CT. She is an American Alpine who was born on 1/4/05. She is registered with the ADGA. Stella and Venus went to a wonderful home in Plainfield, CT in February 2012.
RipRip comes from Andover, CT, where we got Eloise and Junior from. He's a Nubian buck and just as handsome as they get. He is Eloise's father.
JuniorJunior is our wether, and was born on 2/13/09 to Eloise and Tyler. He is 1/2 Nigerian, 1/4 Alpine and 1/4 Nubian and has blue eyes. He loves to 'paw' at you when he wants attention. Junior went to a new home in October 2010 - Thanks, Heather and Noel!
Tinkerbell and Fairy MaryThese two beautiful girls are Opi's daughters. They went to a new home in Rhode Island, much to my disappointment. I realized I needed to downsize and preferred goats without horns, so these two were rehomed along with Junior, Dave and Oreo. These were two of the sweetest girls and loved to jump on people! I am happy to report they are doing very well in their new home and have a new friend, Ernie, a wether pygmy.
Fudge Ripples 2011These two beautiful girls were born on 2/8/11 to Fudgie and Rip. Every one is happy and healthy! We've named the brown eared doeling Rocky Road and the white eared doeling Heavenly Hash. They have gone to their new home in Massachusettes. Thanks Ally! You can see them at www.threedogwool.com!
Little CarlThis is Caramel's wonderful buckling that was born on 3/26/11. He has gone to live at a farm in Glastonbury and is doing very well!

KatieKatie is an American Saanan who was born 3/03/09. She came to us from literally down the road! She is registered with the ADGA and is a very sweet doe. Katie and Jenny have gone to one of the best families out there, Chris and Wendy. Katie is doing well and kidded with a buckling in April 2014, much to Wendy's surprise!
Caramel"Cara" as we call her, was born at ACF on 4/6/10 to Eloise and Tyler. It is with great sadness that I announce she passed away on Sunday March 27th due to labor complications. She is greatly missed by all here at ACF and could never be replaced. She delivered a happy and healthy buckling that now resides at a farm in Glastonbury. Since I am not set up to bottle feed I found it necessary to find him a home where they could give him the love and attention he so much deserves.
OreoOreo was born 5/1/10 in Pomfert, CT, and is an Apline doeling. Oreo has gone to live at another farm in Canterbury for her safety as she preferred our cows and has horns, which became a danger to the other goats. I am happy to say she loves her new home and has not escaped once!
VenusVenus was born on 5/12/08 to Stella. She's also registered with the ADGA as an American Alpine. Stella and Venus went to a wonderful home in Plainfield, CT in February 2012.
TylerTyler also comes from Andover, CT. He is a very proud Nigerian Dwarf with blue eyes. He is the father of Junior, Cara and Nilly. Junior and Cara inherited his blue eyes where as Nilly inherited his color.
DaveDave came to us from the same family Opi did. He is a Pygmy wether born in 2008 and went to a new home with Junior in October.
Opi's 2011 kidsOpi finally kidded on March 8th, 2011 with this georgous multicolored buckling and a sweet teeny cream/white doeling. Opi did a wonderful job and is a great mother to them. They will be going to their new home in early May. Thanks Wendy and Chris!
